What Is The Best Florida Self Employed Health Insurance Plan To Buy?

A lot will depend on your personal situation and the goals of your company but here are some general guidelines:
1. Individual is much cheaper than group.
2. Group is much easier to be approved for if you have major health problems.
3. You must have at least 2 full time employees in order to purchase a Florida group health insurance plan (unless it is the month of August then you can qualify for a FL group of one health insurance plan).
As long as you shop around and compare quotes from a minimum of 3 reputable FL health insurance companies (United Healthcare, Humana, Aetna, etc.) and then speak with an independent health insurance agent then you should have no problem finding a cheap FL self employed health insurance plan. Here is some more information on self employed health insurance and also some info specifically for Florida residents in the 2nd link:

Using The Broad Definition Cons Have Of Socialism, Don’t They Realize America Is Already Socialist?

When are they moving to their third world, laisez-faire capitalist, banana republics?
You know the countries where corporations get away with abusing the worker, polluting the environment, scamming the consumer, and buying the government.
THE UNITED STATES ON THE OTHER HAND…
Has public owned schools for every single child, state owned and subsidized universities, student grants, subsidized loans, GI BIlls, job training, 40 hour work weeks, overtime pay, minimum wage, workman’s compensation, unemployment insurance, work place safety laws, social security and medicare for the elderly, medicaid for the poor, food sanitation standards, laws against false advertisement and labeling, environmental protection laws, force banks to insure with the federal government, regulate the stock market, public housing and food stamps for the poor, government grants in research and development, state owned and controlled armed forces, public transportation, public health utilities, etc, etc.

Is It A Legal Requirement To Have Insurance When You Are Self Employed?

I am about to sign a contract, as a self-employed contractor, and one of the point refers to me having liability insurance. Is it a legal requirement?

By The Broad Definition Cons Have Of Socialism, Do They Realize?

America is already socialist? Been so for over a hundred years.
If liberals/progressives are socialists, then America is socialist. So many of our policies have become reality.
We have public schools for the masses, state owned and subsidized universities, student grants, subsidized loans, GI BIlls, job training, 40 hour work weeks, overtime pay, minimum wage, workman’s compensation, unemployment insurance, work place safety laws, social security and medicare for the elderly, medicaid for the poor, food sanitation standards, laws against false advertisement and labeling, environmental protection laws, force banks to insure with the federal government, regulate the stock market, public housing and food stamps for the poor, government grants in research and development, state owned and controlled armed forces, public transportation, public health utilities, etc, etc.

How Do I Deduct Health Insurance Premiums From My Taxes When I Am Self-employed?

We are losing my wife’s health insurance and are going to be taking out a private health insurance policy. I am self-employed and think I can deduct the premiums from my taxable income.
Does anyone know if that is the case? I would appreciate anyone who could point me in the right direction.

160k In Student Loans (private And Public) Help!?

I really need help and or suggestions on paying student loans back. I attended Full Sail University in Florida. I had taken out a total of 160k worth of student loans (both Sallie Mae and American Education Services /TERI Private loans). I am one of the very few who have worked my tail end off since graduation. Now, due to the market, not one of my clients is paying. I have been looking for a job for almost 8 months, that would just pay my living expenses (1k rent, 1500 student loans, 500 on utilities and cell, 250 on med and car insurance, 300 on credit cards, and additional on food and gas) and I have been so unsuccessful due to being way overqualified or under-qualified for the larger roles. In the meantime, I try to continue my freelance work for peanuts. I work and have worked 12-20 hours per day, most 7 days per week, for the past few years. I am tired and ready for help. I have a great resume. I do not spend frivolously at all. I do not even shop – no new clothes in 2 yrs. How can I pay these off? They are about to default and it will place liens on my mothers and fathers homes. I need help of any sorts. Any ideas? My parents are blue collar workers. They did the best that they could do in guiding me, but now I am lost.

Why Do Republicans Oppose Socialized Healthcare?

They don’t oppose socialized roads, public utilities, and Medicare. Granted, we don’t have many socialized systems left after 30 years of Reaganomics. However, could it be that Republicans don’t want to deal with a privatized water system when the sewers back up? Does the idea of a “road insurance” system scare Republicans? A “system” where a bunch of corporations would make billions from premiums from everyone to drive on roads that are usually closed, in bad repair, or unavailable. A “system” where some “road insurance” CEO’s would make millions a year in salary and buy jets and gold plated toilets on the backs of the premium payers? A “system” where most people couldn’t use the roads despite paying based on “pre-existing car conditions”. Miss an oil change, and you can no longer drive more than 50 miles a day. How about some roads that drive into each other because of mass mis-management and profiteering. Then people could be killed by the road system too. Basically, a system like America’s dysfunctional healthcare for our highways. Hey, at least it would NOT be socialism – and according to Republicans socialism is always bad. Frankly, I don’t see how they can drive on public roads and use any public facilities or products. Talk about hypocrites.

Given Cons Broad Definition Of Socialism, Do They Realize That America Is Already Socialist?

Cons are always calling libs and Democrats socialist, even communist. If liberals/Democrats are socialists, then America is socialist. So many of our policies have long since become laws. See, it’s not black or white, either capitalist or socialist. Most nations instead have a mixed economy.
